Short-duration manual skills labs (principles of practice) (Category 1 Hands-on osteopathic education)

In some cases, a practitioner prefers to work with another practitioner in an in-person mentorship setting where osteopathic principles and practice can be discussed and refined. This can be done in various ways, such as using an existing patient/client, a volunteer, or another practitioner.

Given that time constraints are frequently a consideration, or when a therapist does not necessitate a four- or eight-hour course to address urgent inquiries or to hone a particular skill set, we provide an alternative through short-duration options. During these sessions, emphasis will be placed on the art of osteopathic adjustment employing both short and long leverage techniques, with particular focus on specific articulations, patient intake, red flags, special cases, and the complexities involved in managing a successful and enjoyable practice.

  1. 30-minute / 0.5 CEU – Hands-on skills lab: $90.00 (HST Incl.)
  2. 60-minute / 1.0 CEU – Hands-on skills lab: $145.00 (HST Incl.)
  3. 90-minute / 1.5 CEU – Hands-on skills lab: $235.00 (HST Incl.)

These seminars are approved by OSTCAN under category 1—$340 (HST included) per participant per session. Payment must be made at the time of booking the session.
