BIO

Amanda has 20 years experience in the health, fitness, and rehabilitation field.  Prior to her osteopathic journey, Amanda completed an Honours Kinesiology degree with a Minor in Biology at McMaster University.  She spent a number of years working in physiotherapy, chiropractic, fitness, and physical rehabilitation centres.

Amanda’s experience in rehabilitative settings led her to explore additional forms of treatment, and she was immediately drawn to Osteopathy. Amanda is guided by the belief that the body is able to heal and adapt with the help of appropriate manual therapy, proper nutrition, and movement.

She is a classically trained Osteopathic Manual Practitioner, receiving her Masters in Osteopathic Manipulative Sciences from the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy; Amanda is a member in good standing with the Ontario Osteopathic Association (OOA) and Osteopathy Canada (OSTCAN).

Amanda has always had a love for animals. After she finished her Masters, she completed the 12-month graduate program in Animal Osteopathy. Amanda treats small animals in the clinic and does barn visits for horses and livestock.

Amanda loves helping people and animals in her career in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine. When not providing treatment in the clinic or at the barn, she enjoys hiking, weight training, reading, spending time with loved ones, and being outdoors.
