Adam Ross

MOMSc.

Osteopathic Manual Practitioner

BIO

Adam is a classically trained Osteopathic Manual Practitioner from the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy.

Adam’s classical training means his work is inspired by the philosophy of the founder A.T. Still, which states that healing comes from the liberation of nerve, artery, vein and lymphatic flow in the body. The way this liberation is achieved is through correction of the collective mechanics of the body. In other words, by restoring motion to areas of the body where motion has been lost, in order to improve the collective motion of the body as a unit.

Adam’s work experience prior to attending the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy was in the construction trades. He discovered Osteopathy after a back injury forced him to seek alternative care. Coming from a construction background, he views the structure of the body in a very mechanical way. Outside of work, his interests are in the outdoors, and fitness.
